I'm puzzeled by the term "Unexpected error" which seems to imlpy that there are expected errors, or things that they know will go wrong.
|
I liked these error message haikus:
Three things are certain: Death, taxes, and lost data. Guess which has occurred. -- David Dixon A file that big? It might be very useful. But now it is gone. -- David J. Liszewski Few more here: http://archive.salon.com/21st/chal/1998/02/10chal2.html Best, Kurt |

is that error with the bomb from a mac?
|
Yeah- its like a windows blue screen, except the message has a little bomb on it and is therefore cuter. Kind of like a turd rolled in cinnamon and sugar.

I once got:
"Error: This error should not have occurred." |
Lots of great error messages in the Linux kernel source - just recursively grep for anything calling panic()
