Geminids Meteor Shower Tonight/Early AM (Thurs/Fri)
This shower is noted as being one of the most reliable showers of the year.
If you have clear skies and are away from city lights, put on some warm clothes and go outside and look at the sky for a while! Gemini rises from the east and should be around overhead about now, I think. Good luck! Best, Kurt |

11:30pm Pacific - Went out for about 15 minutes - seeing about 1 meteor/minute and a few long and brilliant tails!
Looks like some excellent viewing opportunities this pm/am and I don't think this shower will let you down. FWIW. Best, Kurt |

I'll try and check it out tonight. It's very cold here, so clear skies. Should be idea except for all the city lights (on a good night you can see maybe 20 or 30 stars total).
