Yup. Bush did cut taxes. Then he proceeded to run up our credit card debt to 9 trillion . In my book thats a lot bigger number that a billion. Its pathetic really. The new republican motto is that its ok to spend a lot of taxpayer money, but not bother to match the out flow with a source of income.

How much does Iraq cost you on a daily basis ? Just for reference. I have a hard time grasping the concept of 'billion' too.

Spending is certainly up which is unforgivable...but you are apparently unaware that revenues to the treasury are much increased. Odd how that works. First Reagan got lucky with it, now BushII. If either of them had had the fortitude to curtail spending...
