The fact that the father was standing there at all speaks to the fact that the daughter does not (want to) run her own life.
Monday night we had our local informal PCA dinner party. I sat next to a sociology professor. We got on the topic of kids/young adults today. We agreed that they are increasingly codependent on their parents. Heck, a coworker of mine gets about 10 phone calls a day from each of her three kids! They expect mom to call professors about grade problems, to advise them on what classes to take at what time with what professors, and to approve of any dates--all with just a description over the phone or by e-mail. What is the cause of the problem? Parents, primarily to be sure. But I also blame teachers, and camp counselors, and most other adults kids come into contact with to some degree. These kids have grown up their whole life never losing because they were surrounded by people who feared damaging their self-esteem. They have also never been disciplined for the same reason, and are allowed to complain, bully, or cajole to get their way.

That's too funny. JJ should have made the father pay a fine as well, he's the idiot that raised the stupid daughter. Just imagine how many times he (father) has used / abused the system to pull her skinny little a$$ out of the fire. This time she got exactly what she deserves. JJ should also have given her 40 hours of public service riding with officers on patrol then she could have had a dose of reality.

The best and the worst of what the police have to offer all captured in one video. The young officer is what we would hope to see in every officer, and indeed see in the majority. The father is a blight on police officers everywhere, the sort that undermines all of their good reputations. I wonder how many fuch-ups he has "fixed" for that dumb b!tch over the years.
