Good stuff, and very true. Political cartoons (good ones) are truly an art form. I think the best ones I ever came across were in a few books by Paul Szep back in my parents' house I remember reading as a kid. Even though I didn't understand all the nuances of every cartoon (specific events regarding Vietnam, etc.) I could appreciate their brilliance.
If he were "still in the game" (so to speak) today, I imagine he'd be having an absolute field day. No shortage of material, that's for sure. . .
