Papelbon's dog eats World Series ball
Hahaha!!! I guess he's got to go out and get himself another one.

I'm getting a little tired of the Papelbon/clown act. I have this idea, and I don't know where it came from, but I have this idea in my head that Josh Beckett secretly wants to beat the everloving snot out of Papelbon.

I think the recent distaste I have with Papelbon's behavior really comes from the juxtaposition of him and guys like Beckett. Beckett is only a couple years older than Pap, but he seems infintely more mature. Beckett has that swagger about him, that "don't you dare f*ck with me" kind of professionalism that I admire - he's like a mini Roger Clemens (without the steroids, of course).
Papelbon, however, is a bit of a clown. Still wouldn't rather have anyone else on the mound in the 9th inning, though.
