Common mistakes made when buying a new Rolex
With all the Rolex question threads, I thought I would start one with handy pointers for anyone thinking of buying a Rolex.
The first rule, whether buying new or used, is to buy from a reputable shop. Especially with your first watch, you're buying the dealer as much as you're buying the watch. Second, and more importantly, when in New Jersey, do not forget to pay before trying to take your new Rolex from the shop. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5573979311920964592&hl=en

That's funny! I assume the store employees had no experience wrestling or playing football when they were younger

Do not buy from a guy who steps out of an alley with Rolexes up his arm under the sleeve of his coat saying: "They fell off a truck and you can have one for $100!!"
