Heather wants to know if Beth has any extra motion-sickness pills. She couldn't do the roads in the "Blue Malibu" wait 'til she gets a ride in a real car. BTW she says she "likes her malibu"

I will just never forget the matter of fact way you answered my question of "which car is yours"....................."The blue Malibu" I swear it I thought you were joking.............................until I saw you pull out of the parking lot.

A note to remember to tell everyone to bring a laptop if you can. I think 1 was just a little to little last year. I will pimp mine out again.

Rick, have Beth try the motion sickness wrist bands. They work like a charm for my wife.

BTW: didn't I read recently that they really stepped up patrols on the Dragon?

Send a message via AIM to Gogar
I rode through the Dragon last weekend on a bike, and I saw 3 or 4 TN cops; but like you said, I certainly expected to see them. And, I was on a Harley, so I wasn't interested in going fast at all.

Didn't see one NC cop in for over 100 miles in NC.

Thanks I'll have her look into it, or she can sit her butt at the lodge.
We can send somebody out early to scout out the cops. I would suspect that by Nov. the police will have relaxed some.
Since the speed limit is 35, we can always drive backwards. That should be a blast.

Well at those speeds we can just walk. Hell just driving on that road with Beth riding shotgun is callanging enough.

Of course I am in and if all works out well, I will be there with the 911 and the RX7.

BTW- RickV, the more the merrier, this is a car guy thing more than a particular marque.

Look forward to seeing the gang out there again.

As far as Police on the Dragon, yes, they are there in force and I would nto be surprised to see them come out and greet us Porches (sic) when we are there.

But, alas, Procon took me on some awesome roads that are very close by and on the NC side and more empty that the dragon wished it could be.

I am not sure of my lodging arrangements at this time, I think I want to stay one night (Saturday) there in Fontana that drive back and forth, while fun, was a drag in a way.

Congrats Jay!! Look forward to seeing it in person.

Speedy - Are you referring to the Sunday Morning Revival drive Jay and I do when I am there? The one that takes you through 3 states and lots of empty roads?
