On this very day in 1983 ARPANET officially switched over to pure TCP/IP.

Yup, happy birthday indeed. And lets not forget the implementation of RFC1149 (tcp/ip over avian carrier) and TCP/IP over Bongo Drum (no RFC for that one...)

I'm such a loser I actually have a favorite RFC paper. I have fought in an online game for the past 4 years using the name RFC1542.
