Well, I would never vouch for all of that since some of it seems a tad off the wall.

But I do know that our foreign policy in the Middle East and toward Israel has certainly been a disaster most of the time. If it was not so deadly and so serious some of the things that we have done would be comical. We often appear to go out of our way to install, support, or back some of the worst despots and leaders on the planet who often end up using the help or weapons we supplied to them against us.

Nothing about the current administration leads me to believe they are above repeating the sins of the past.

Nothing at all.

TV just commented that Obama-Huckabee wins signal that voters are fed up with All current DC politicians and style. Like Pres Carter was a rebound so could either be our next P.

it's not a new w/Carter phenomena either imo.

A lot of people are just mimicing the media in overblowing the significance of Iowa. Hell, Bill Clinton lost Iowa and New Hampshire in '92 before winning the nomination--and the election.
The real campaign will start after those two states have their say.

Watching the ABC New Hampshire debate tonight, Ron Paul said the price of oil since 2000 has tracked the price of gold--it's up 350% vs the weak dollar and 200% vs the Euro. Americans are now paying much more for oil relative to the Europeans thanks to the weak dollar. Paul says a lot of good things, but then he talks idealistically about dismantling big corporations and other power structures, and loses people--especially the media.

The questions were poor for both parties tonight. The ABC poll said the two most important issues for callers were the economy (45%) and the environment (23%). Neither was discussed by the Republicans and both were not discussed enough by the Democrats. Blame it on the moderators, who are framing these debates. They should listen to their own polls.

I caught that part too and wrote about it in another thread already. We both caught the same thing.

Let's see if it gets any press.

Dr. Paul sure is on top of things.

I don't have a TV and these weren't broadcast over the radio. Did I miss anything good?

I think that the Dr. Paul supporters post everything he is in on YouTube.
