Unhappy Need a tow vehicle tomorrow (Friday Jan 4th)

The 968 is spewing antifreeze. So now I need to get it from North Beach to Mountain View and would like to avoid spending $400 in towing charges to do it. So....if you have a tow vehicle and free time tomorrow morning, I would pay your gas and buy breakfast and buy you beer/wine.

OR if you want to lend your tow vehicle to a fellow Pelicanite, I can come to you and work with whatever reasonable arrangement (cash deposit, proof of insurance, copy of my license, etc).

My plan was to rent a trailer from Uhaul. My schedule is completely open so I can work around yours.

My contact details are devinbholmes at gmail dot com or my cell is 617 233 4337.

Thanks!!
Devin

Damn man, if I lived near you I'd help. I hope you find someone to lend a hand.

Or rent one of the uhaul trucks with the dolly - for a 1/2 day it shouldn't be much - (although I would help you if I wasn't 3000 miles away)

Am working on finding a Uhaul that has a smaller truck I can rent. Somehow the 24' truck and dolly seems excessive. Amazing how hard it is to find a Uhaul truck last minute for a Friday.....lol.

typed too fast.....upset about the 968. Well since it's not running I took off 1 for each non-functioning cylinder. Hope no 964-ers are offended. Good catch - I corrected it....lol

Thanks Byron. Looks like Florida is showing strong in the tow vehicle help department.

Here's a cheer and fingers crossed that Northern California will come through for me....... ;-)
