Buckhead Restaurant-Outdoor Seating-Nice "Scenery"

Meeting a buddy tomorrow in Atlanta and I'm looking for a place to meet for lunch. Would like something where we can sit outside, relax, and take in the scenery...
any suggestions?

Thanks

It's not outside, but the Buckhead Diner is always very good.

There may be a few "better" places, but if you make a little run down Peachtree into Midtown, there are a few places with sidewalk seating at 17th and Peachtree (See the red area on the map).

The pizza place just north of 17th St. is fantastic!!!

If you like French food, Anis is good and has a nice outdoor seating area. It's on Grandview Ave in Buckhead (I can almost hit it with a rock from my house). Their website is www.anisbistro.com. The Treehouse is another option in nearby Peachtree Hills.

Another option would be the Taco Mac at Lindbergh Center. They have a small outdoor seating area, great hot wings, and around 200 different beers. Have fun!

Not Buckhead but Rays on the river is excellent and pretty close. The OK Cafe is GREAT but inside.

In Buckhead there is also Nava and Brio. One click North is Casa Grande I think which has a large patio.

The old Loca Luna spot in midtown was cool, but they've moved now.

The weather should actually be really nice tomorrow evening- plenty cool for chillaxin' on a patio...

Thanks for the input. I know there is aton to choose from, but I was hoping to narrow it down. Hope it's not too hot.

Damn, Atlanta rules! In Raleigh, we definitely don't have ANY outdoor strip clubs.

two urban licks. its in the old newspaper warehouse. Its a tad pricey, but it overlooks the city and its covered, but has big garage doors that roll up. very cool.

Tavern at Phipps. If you want some REALLY good scenery, go at happy hour....the waitresses and their uniforms are "NOT TO BE BELIEVED"

Food is great and they have patio seating. Location is Peachtree and Lenox Rd

I assumed when you said buckhead you meant it. Most of the places people mentioned were not even close. And by scenery, I suspect you meant girls. I vote for Three Dollar Cafe right on Peachtree in Buckhead. I haven't been there in a while, I suppose it's still open.

REALLY? Buckhead has sure changed since 1999 when I was hanging out there. Went back in 2006 or 2007....really different. Surprised the Tounge and Groove was still open.

Nahh, shouldn't be too hot. Low to mid 80's. is the forecast for the rest of the week.

Here's another shot of the area I was talking about. Quite a few office buildings within walking distance, including the SunTrust Plaza, and the McKenna-Long Law Practice (1180 Peachtree).

At lunch time, there is quite a bit of foot traffic.
