How cool is this?? (hockey related)

Long story short, got to play in an All Star hockey game in Philips arena right after the Thrashers beat the Penguins in O/T Sat night. It was really cool playing in the 'big arena'. It was filmed and announced by the Thrasher personel to which we will all get copies on DVD. We got to watch ourselves on the big screen/replays etc.. They estimated we had @ 2,000 people stay and watch (including our family/friends) which was cool. Not quite the 17,000 that watched the 'first game', but awesome none the less...

That would be great. I'd imagine the ice is a lot bigger in the Philips areana than you're used to. I've played goalie a few times in our local pick-up games where the ice has a big dip in it just out to the right side of the goal. I envy you, It must be nice to play on top quality ice!

That ranks right up there with my gold medal from the International Police Winter Games! That would be pretty cool. I have only played in the big stadium once, no fans present. Must have been pretty cool!!

I was more worried about Crosby.. He got two, but was stuffed in the shootout....

That would be cool man. I played in a legue once and the championship game was at the Excel Engery Center in Minneapolis / St. Paul. Of course, there wasn't anyone watching us...
