Today's "ebay 911 hackjob"

I swear, they're breeding.

We have to find the nest and destroy it.

I don't like the wheels, but painted black w/black Fuch's I wouldn't be ashamed to drive it and later on put a 3.2 in it.... Now that red 959 from the other day.... that's a different story......

I saw an absolutely beautiful slantnose in the parking lot at work the other day. Even in great shape, obviously The Real Thing (proper patina, look 'n' feel, etc.), and in my favorite color (black), it just looks funny to me. I can't imagine spending real money on a slantnose conversion. It just looks off-balance, somehow, like it should have more "visual mass" at the front end.

Just my $.02...

Dan

PS -- Of course, right now I'm Porsche-less, so I'll freely admit that I wouldn't "kick a eBay hack-job slant-nose out of bed," as it were, if it were a great deal, but I'm definitely not thrilled about buying one, that's all.

This one doesn't look as bad as some of the other monstrosities I've seen here (eBay, craigslist, etc...)

No slantnose for me either - the headlight tunnels are the "breast" of the 911 to me

C'mon now - you can do much better than that. On a embarrassment scale of 1-10, that thing is only at a 4. Here's a 10
