Why did he cry? I mean, he's not a Presidential candidate...

For about 3 years in the 90s Farve was...+ Steve Young...I dont count Aikman because while his teams were winners, he only threw over 20TD passes in one season...with a HOF RB and HOF WR playing along side of him... good manager of the game though and good announcer now. Farve is back in the top 2 as of today

Why did he cry?
He was standing by his man Romo.

They should go to Mexico as a couple next time.

Maybe Romo is considering it???

I give TO props. How many players actually give a ***** enough about their teammates to show that much emotion? In today's world of bling bling players who jet off on vacation the minute after the whistle blows I am happy to see a player who actually cares what happens.

Count me as a new TO fan.

Does he have a primary tomorrow? ;)

on2wheels52 01-13-2008 05:51 PM

No small factor in my decision to quit tv was the upside of not having to see/hear him. No regrets so far.

I'll have to catch it tomorrow morning. Still not a fan of his. And Tom Brady is a big P**SY

Who will all the Texas fans root for next year? I sure hope Kubiak is able to make Houston the better of the two teams like back in the early 90's when the Oilers were on top.

dd74 01-13-2008 07:27 PM

You guys are harsh.

mattdavis11 01-13-2008 07:28 PM

You must have had the special mustard. I don't remember the Oilers ever being on top. They were close though.

On top of the Cowboys that is, and it was true as the trucks/cars in Texas had oil rig stickers instead of stars. ;)

I was impressd with TO playing well in the Super Bowl.
But he makes a lousy team mate.

The Pats greatest strength is their unity.
NO player (or coach) plays to the media.
NONE go out of their way to attract attention off the field.
They don't even pander to their fans.
And that's the way we like it.
Work hard.
Do your job.
Focus.
That is the game plan every day with that bunch.
Don't like it ? - Tough ! - They don't do it to make you happy.

Nothing wrong with Romo running off to paradise - but very questionable leadership.
Might have been time better spent in the film room.
Brady , the day AFTER the 1st Super Bowl win was in the workout room.

Brady, not tough ? A pussy ?
Laughable!
He stands in the pocket calmly and takes whatever hit is coming. He's no dancer.
And smart enough to take what the defense gives him.
If the Jags had clogged the lanes to stop those "1 yard" passes Moss would have had a lot more fun to say the least.

I wouldn't necessarily call myself a fan of his, but I saw the clip this morning, and I was impressed that he cared enough to put his emotions "out there" for all to see. I didn't think it was an "act" at all, but a sincere "come to the defense of his teammate" display. I've never given TO a second thought before, but I respect what I saw this morning.
