wow. i hate my credit card company today.
basically the issue is still with myself. i pulled a bonehead move. i charged away with careless abandon on my credit card lately. my balance gave me cramps. well, anyways i paided it off. twice! for some idiotic reason, i dont have my CC on my billpay page at my bank. i go to the CC website, and pay thru there by linking up to my bank via the routing number. i didnt remember paying, and i didnt see any pending payments. so i clicked away, and paid again. (same day apparently)
have you ever tried to get a CC company to fix an issue like this? it isnt easy. i can pay them in 15 seconds, and my payment clears in 24 hours. they issue a check, and i should get it in 30 working days. taking a cash advance looks good on paper, but it opens me up to fees. damn, i am a idiot. i almost "bounced" my check card purchase at starbucks this morning. oh well, i am gonna raid my ING account now...bye.

I have overpaid my credit card balance, but my company did not issue a check. I just had a negative balance until I charged enough to get back to zero.
I haven't ever had that problem since becoming a Porsche owner though. ![]()

Wouldn't it be sweet if they paid you the 13% on your negative balance?

I'd close all of my savings accounts and send the check to my credit card company.

I did this once, I actually paid a credit card off and closed the account, then I sent another payment. I took them weeks to send a check.

I paid off and closed a Captial One account last November. Today I received a check for 19 cents. I tore it up and tossed it. Hope it carries on their books for decade.
