A coworker has one and he has good things to say about it. I may pick one up in the next few months. What makes this phone way cooler than the iphone is that you could put Googles android software on it.

Operator error:D

I would still be using my i1000 if the system still supported it.
But this this is cool, I watched an old Felix the cat cartoon earlier:cool:

I'm using the HTC right now too;

Has the slide out keyboard and does all the same crap that the last two phones did. I started with a blackberry, then used a Palm and now the HTC. If I was to choose one after using all three, I'd choose the armour coated Palm. (Has a heavy black rubber coating for protection).

Be careful with the HTC and the web browser. You have to go to Programs, memory and running programs to turn the stuff off or it just continues. I ended up purchasing a unlimited web browsing account as the browser is constantly hooked up. I have more challenges with 'no zone' effects with this phone than the others.

Great phones though, I think you'll like it!

My current collection:

I've test driven one. Sleek device, but IMO, the touchscreen isn't the greatest for text entry, something I need to do reliably and efficiently (I do a lot of texting). I got rid of a SureType Blackberry for this reason. That Neonode N2 is another nice looking device, but the lack of 3G and wireless are too much for other features to overcome.

I also have an 8525 - installed WM6 on it for a couple months now (though not really a major upgrade).

Handwriting recognition -- I use it all the time. For emails and such, it works great. ..better/faster than the slide-out keyboard.

If you can remember how to write cursive, the Handwriting recognition is fast. ..very fast.
