That skymaster comment is great!

A Skymaster will not take off with only the front engine running, more than one 337 has done some unintentional landscaping due to the pilot forgetting to start the rear engine. You can save some fuel in the Skymaster if you are anticipating a long taxi by taxiing around single engine.

The nice thing about the turbine twins is that they either have a negative torque sensing system (NTS on direct drive turboprops) or an autofeather system. As long as it is working the autofeather can save your bacon. If you ever ride on a turboprop (especially on a part 121 carrier) you'll notice that the propellers feather alternately during taxi for takeoff, it's very important to test the system before every flight.

For excitement when losing an engine I'd say the 421 I flew with a Lycoming turboprop conversion would get your shorts wound up for sure. I also flew a Baron with a 300hp per side conversion that would definitely eat your lunch if you didn't know what you were doing. The Brasilia could also be a handful.
