High correlation to developed markets, and high beta to developed markets.

Suggests emerging markets, as a group, not offering diversification from developed markets, but rather acting like a higher-risk bet on developed markets.

I don't do much anything w/ emerging markets myself, and didn't produce these charts. So merely passing on if anyone is interested - saw this stuff and recalled that in a recent thread, some said they had moved assets to international stocks.

I have VWO. Its been all over the place. I'm still up about 15% for the year, but it was up as much a 40%.

I'm holding it long.
