That's looking like a pretty good blaze.

I don't get any audio on that feed, is that how it's supposed to be?

3-Alarm Fire Burning On Top Of Monte Carlo
Blaze Spreading; Fire Crews En Route To Scene

POSTED: 11:12 am PST January 25, 2008
UPDATED: 11:42 am PST January 25, 2008
LAS VEGAS -- A three-alarm fire is in progress on top of the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino at 3770 Las Vegas Blvd. S.

The blaze began shortly after 11 a.m. Friday.

Dark plumes of smoke can be seen, and fire crews are en route to the scene.

The blaze began at the top of the hotel and appears to be spreading down. There are 32 floors and about 3,000 people staying at the hotel.

The fire is burning in three different parts of the hotel.

Guests were spotted looking out of hotel windows, and guests are gambling. There has been no evacuation.

Debris is falling from the blaze, and it is catching other parts of the hotel on fire.

Las Vegas Boulevard is closed from Harmon to Tropicana avenues.

There is no word on the cause of the blaze or whether or not there have been any injuries.

Refresh www.fox5vegas.com often for continuing updates.

Oh look, the building's on fire. Whatever. Put this stack of chips on black for me, will ya?

Oh geez, for a sec there I thought you were talking about Monaco. I thought Sebastian Loeb had rammed his "Citrus" into a casino.

I miss rally on Speed.

It will be interesting to see what caused the fire - buildings of that type are non combustable construction & fully fire sprinkled & it is usually fairly hard for them to burn (unless it's some loser at the tables with a gas can)

Geez a guy goes up to the roof to blow a doobie, and next thing you know.....

It's out now, but I find it strange to see parts of the building which appear to be stone burning???

It said there was welders/welding going on at the roof, but they don't know what caused the fire...

Glad no injuries.
