Looking for a nice flat screen tv mount?
Sorry, the link failed. Here it is:
http://www.peerlessindustries.com/dyn/Products/BrowseProduct.aspx/productId/149296/categoryID/195/u/T I got this one at Costco for $89! Really nice quality and installation. I have my flat screen flat against a wall, but I pull it out and rotate it so it faces a treadmill. Last edited by 89911; 02-02-2008 at 04:02 AM.. |

I picked up a swiveling and pivoting mount at Home Depot for $50, I think it was rated for 75 lbs. Holds my 37" Toshiba LCD with no issues, installation was simple. Too bad after install I realized I don't need to adjust it, and a shallow flat mount would have been better.

Nice mount.
A bit of advice for flat screen TV shoppers. If considering an inexpensive TV check to see that the rear mounting points are VESA compliant. If not you're challenged with finding a decent universal mount....not good. A friend bought such a TV for his part time business condo. I believe it was the ILO brand from Walmart. When he complained about the quality of the universal mount, that had to be coupled with a swing are mount, I asked to take a look. In the end I spent a week designing and fabricated a custom mounting system. Unfortunately most people don't have that capability.
