Dana Jacobson
Anyone see this?? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/01/23/dana-jacobson-suspended-b_n_82908.html
I think she's getting a raw deal, not like it was televised and half the country feels that way about Notre Dame

What if she had said: "F*** thugs from the 'hood who play college football"?

ABC fired someone for making a gay joke, she is getting a slap on the wrist for something much worse. Double standard, like the nappy heade hoe comment.

Based on my personal experience, yes.
I personally knew exactly ONE ND football player. I met him at ISU after he lost his ride at ND and was one his way to losing his ride at ISU...he never did graduate after 5 years of college. The guy's name was Lee Lafayette and he went to high school with some of my friends. He was from Kankakee...need I say more?

Pretty much all of the football players at Miami (Ohio) are thugs. Or at least they think they are.
On a different note, when we played ND in hockey, someone had a huge sign that said Swoop (the name of our mascots) Killed Jesus. I laughed

I totally disagree, I think she's getting screwed. Mike Golic is a ND grad, she was just expressing what half of us think ( ok what most big ten grads think LOL). It was a ROAST and NOT telecast, roasts are supposed to be rude and crude.. Although I hear she was stumble down drunk..

I dont like Dana Jacobson....yeah she is from my home state and my school UM...but she is a trashy "journalist" and should be accountable for what she says.
In this day and age a person in the public eye has to be accountable... and to make those statements to begin with shows an utter lack of class and integrity...drunk ho or not. Just last week she was on her stupid First and 10 show along with Skip Bayless and Rob Parker...and they were all AGREEING that the Chargers should dive at Tom Brady's legs after the play with intent to injure him and put him out of the game!! WTF...now "sports journalists" are advocating one team to take cheap shots at another with intent to injure? The kept repeating that for a 5 minute segment on their show and Parker says "the Chargers shouldnt worry about the flag, hit Brady after the whistle low like Kemo Vonohoffen did on Carson Palmer...and then they would win the game!!!" and the stupid ugly woman Jacobson was agreeing... idiots...they need to be held accountable for their lack of class and general ugliness. |

"My actions at the roast were inappropriate and in no way represent who I really am," she said. "I have personally apologized to many of the people involved. I won't make excuses for my behavior but do hope that I can be forgiven for such a poor lack of judgment."
Let's go with nails in the hands and feet and how about maybe a wooden cross, yea, that's the ticket. |
