I already aswered that question above.....

Sometimes men of vision have great and wonderful ideas...ideas that lesser men are charged with implementing...if the goal is not attained; does that make it any less admirable or appropriate? Would you rather a great nation have a small vision or set low goals? That is not what made our country great.
Often the ideas of great men are sabotaged by those that are jealous, do not have a similar gift of vision, or have a different agenda. That can certainly be said with almost anything our nation has attempted in the middle east. Those of you who detract from Wolfowitz only need to look in the mirror and see those who have rooted for and supported our enemies all along and imagine what we might have accomplished if the left had not made it clear to the enemy that all they had to do was hang on and murder as many innocents as possible...and their friends here in the U.S. and in Europe would come to power and prevent a U.S. victory and a chance for freedom for our friends in the middle east.

Like most men of great vision, Wolfowitz has never easily suffered fools nor adjusted his definition of what is right with what is popular.

It is far better to have men of substance leading the nation toward the most magnificent of goals and sometimes falling short...than those that would run the country by poll and popularity without consideration of doing what is best for the nation

Those that have illicit affairs at the nations expense, seek power for the sake of power and personal gain, and rarely tell the truth...even under oath...can hardly be expected to have the moral character to run this great nation...and those that support such leaders...certainly do not support what is best for the nation...or mankind...and do so at the expense of their fellow man.

Why do you extoll virtues of Wolfowitz in the first three paragraphs and then slam him in the last?

Neoconfusion

10 guys in a classroom
1 neoconfused guy says, 2+2=9 and a half
the other neoconfused guy says, yeah man , spot on !

does that mean anything to the other 8 who think 2+2=4?

So if I understand this correctly, Wolfie was ambassador to Suharto's Indonesia? The same Suharto that made Saddam Hussein look like a cub scout? I'm sure they got along famously.

After his contribution to the deaths of 5,000 Americans in Iraq, he went over to the World Bank to f-up bigtime -- violating the laws of common decency.

Just another serial failure that seems stuck in the Bush orbit. One year to go...
