Who'll stop the rain?

It's really coming down. Is there no end?

I'll take your rain, give you the snow I see...about 6" overnight. Hope it goes away soon...rain would hasten the melt, and wash the corrosives that ODOT has sprayed on the roads away...

Send it east; our ski hill could use some more snow. Plus my relatives in the Mesilla Valley can always use a little more district irrigation water next summer. Wait, there's that "stinking government socialism again" - built that dam and all those ditches for a bunch of poor, dirt farmers from the old countries, Mexico and even India. Except they're now no longer poor - fancy that.

Ugh, need to check the pool at my parents house. I bet it's almost ready to overflow.

Well, the rain has just stopped the Lakers/Cavs games at the Staples Arena. You wouldn't want Kobe or any other franchise player slipping on wet wood.

My parents are now the proud owners of an infinity pool. They also have a new lake where the side yard once was. Gotta go back in a few hours and check on the pool level, it's draining right now. Maybe I can unclog the drain in the side yard as well.

I just got back from a very nice ski in that same snow. No hour long drive required, just a short 3 blocks to the golf course by my house.

I hope it sticks around - it really cuts down on the traffic here. Most people don't know how to drive in snow and stay home.

It was great - surely the power wagon can handle a few crystals?

I'm wet and cold. I forgot to lock a door at my parents, the alarm company calls and I run back to my parents wearing a thin suede shirt over a t-shirt. The rain decides to really dump and I'm outside trying to keep the drains from clogging. Two hoses are in the pool draining and the side yard is now an ocean with no drainage due to super clogged drains. at least they no longer have an infinity pool. Not a good thing, as the pool level is about 5 feet above the foundation of the house.

Oh yeah...power wagon would have no problem with this stuff. Just nowhere I need to go badly enough to have someone in a rig that would have a problem prang me...

You aren't kidding - the clock stopped at 13 seconds and screwed with the whole game. Thats 3 losses in a row.
