My oldest, time for the upper bunk?

My oldest has three sets of stitches on his head from running around corners and slipping and failing into furniture, from three different times. He is very smart in school, but has always been too overconfident physically. I think his big head made him top heavy.

The second oldest had staples in his head from a rock fight in the back yard with a neighbor.

After all that I never gave the bunk beds a second thought.

When I married my wife, her girls were 5 & 6, but my wife taught them to swim when they were very young. She never had a problem.

If you teach your daughter to swim, you won't need to worry about the pond. As the girls got a bit older, I never worried about them in the pond, but if they had friends over, my wife and I woud keep a watchful eye on them.

Actually we had to rush the two year old in just a couple of months ago. He was running and tripped introducing his forehead to the edge of a kitchen chair. Spit his melon open like a cantaloupe. A bunch of stitches later he was fine but he has an impressive Harry Potter scar
