where are the products you buy made? How much debt does the US now owe to China? How does that, the massive trade imbalance, and the huge manufacturing shifts affect our current economy?

Unless you don't buy anything and don't work, the changes in China affect you.

For example, the list says:

WOW I missed that event (and a lot of other events on that list) and I'm in my 50's.

A number of life changing events on that list are very subjective.
