Back in about 1995 or so (a couple of years after his Top Fuel championship year), I took my then five or six year old son to the Fall Nats at Seattle International Raceways. Got rained out...

As we were making our way back to my car, wandering through the pits, Mr. Hill hollered at us from under his pit canopy "hey, come in out of the rain!". So we did. We wound up spending the rest of the afternoon with him, eating hot dogs off of his grill and drinking cokes from his cooler. Even though we missed the races that day, my now 25 year old son recalls it as one of his favorite race day memories. Mr. Hill is a fine gentleman and a wonderful story teller.

Wish we had more stories like this. Hotdogs and sodas, cost almost nothing to a big race team, however you did not see a car run that day and your son still talks about it. Now days drivers probably have steak and lobster clauses in their driver contracts, please remove certain color M&Ms from the bowl, brand X bottled water, etc.....

What's up with all the recent interest in a short lived experiment I did 10 years ago on my car?

Did I recently hurt somebody's girly feelings in the forum by making them look stupid?

They were stupid before I met them, honestly.

LOL, a half pint dishonest runt like you didn't hurt anyones feelings, my guess is Sand_Man was showing the piss poor decisions you have made & the hack job you did screwing up the front of that 911. Has it rusted out yet?? I can't figure out why someone who claims to be an architect would not fix their driveway over that "Presidential Solution" or at least build ramps like the VW owner did?? For the record, I have had to deal with 2 steep driveways, deep gutter, and both times I had the problem fixed, never even considered drilling holes in the bottom of one of my cars. First a temporary wooden support, then later correctly fixed.
When I bought this home, I could only get my 911 up if I entered at an angle, so we changed the angle of the driveway, pretty simple huh..

To be fair, it is Random Transportation Pictures, not links.
