You know, I think that generation of Mustang might be one of the few cars that have NO redeeming features at all. An ongodly '76 Lincoln coupe has some 70's kitch appeal, an AMC Eagle has a some AWD technology that made it interesting. Heck, even a Trabant has some goofball attraction.

Even its contemporaries, like the Vega and some AMCs, have developed a bit of a niche following. But not those Mustangs... I don't think there's anything to like about them.

We always called them Super Pintos
