I know these things are manufactured new and can be bought (I have a link somewhere).

I think this could be the answer to my 'need' for a fun car once I retire... that is if I stay away from the affordable 996 thread. ;)

Yep. Morgan Three-wheeler.

It's a hoot to drive. New cars are so capable and refined, they've lost a lot of character. This one is fun at 25-30mph. I realize that they give this "car" (motorcycle) a lot of leeway, but I've never seen a car with such consistent, positive reviews.

Mainly, you move to a different scale of GPM's. Grins Per Mile.

But, realistically, its list of what it doesn't have far exceeds what it does. No top, windows, heater, ABS, traction control, GPS, power steering, power brakes, cup holder, reasonable storage, air bags (!), etc., etc. No electronic filtering between you and the car.

OK...it's immature, but the steering wheel has a quick disconnect to help the driver get in/out. It's fun to slide into the driver's seat to take someone for their first ride, and say, "Actually, I'm a little tired. You drive." Then, pull the steering wheel off the column and hand it to them. Sort of disconcerting if you're not expecting it.

Not really although it was an off shoot of the XP-84 program. It's a Republic XF-91 hybrid rocket/jet. Only two ever built.

Not sure if you're serious but...that is a paxton supercharger. I think shelby and Cosby both had them on their cobra's as well.

That Mustang's Monte Carlo bar is unique too.

Paxton supercharger, but I honestly didn't look all that close to it.

Okay, I gotta ask, so what is in the hood/trunk? Obviously there has to be a gas tank somewhere but there has to be some storage space... right?
