Here's mine in 1961 - Don't know if the scanned pic will be big enough to see very well. It was after I wrecked my car & this was what I could afford. I was embarrassed to be seen driving it. Now I think I'd be pretty cool. This was in Fresno, CA one of the only times it ever snowed. Nash Metropolitan. My girlfriend referred to it an my Cosmopolitan.

My parents called them by both of the names....

Here is a blast from the past. I had this song in a 45 back in the day.

This reminds me of the story about "that" famous snow storm my dad told me. Although he and my mom were in Visalia at the time of the snowing. If I can get them to did it out, he had a picture of my mom on the hood of their Buick in the snow. Houses even look the same too....

Totally different car. The Nash Rambler was larger, 4/5 passenger, and made in the US.

The Nash Metropolitan was a 2 seat car with a bench seat.

My brother just picked up this Vanagon with a Ford Z-Tec conversion in Indianapolis and drove it back to NC. Zero rust since it was originally from NV and always garaged when it was relocated to Indiana.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1485724402.jpg
