This is a working / restored single cyl diesel power unit salvaged from a factory in Waynesboro. 22" bore - forgot what the stroke is. In this pic is firing under full load, standing 30 yds from the exhaust the pressure wave would blow your hat off. |
Seems fair right? I mean HE did win the tournament all SHE did was make him a sammitch?

No - sorry - only pic I have is the tractor itself, but a 3 bottom plow of the same vintage is hooked to it.
Yes the JD pretty rare in its own right with LP option - but rarer is that it's an orchard model as well. Usually orchard tractors were smaller size / displacement. |

I liked it so much I bought a 1968 Opel Kadett with the $600 my dad gave me for my first car upon graduating high school. No were as cool as the Riviara, fun fact, Buick was the importer for Opel back then so we got all our parts from the Buick dealer. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1535583542.jpg |

Every once in a while I'll see a hopped up beater like this and the memories come rushing back from my high school days.
