Omg! Do I ever remember those bike “cheater slicks.” Stupid design for a bicycle, but they mimiced the drag slicks street stock racers used in the day. In the ‘60s every kid was a car guy, even the ones who didn’t know crap about cars. I like to think it was a better time.

my 80's banana seat bike had the squared off rear tires like that. I sold it at a garage sale when saving up for my Diamond Back BMX bike.
