May have told this story before: Chet Vincentz had a small electronic’s firm (Electrodyne)just down the street from the Porsche dealer where I worked (1970). He also had a green ‘68 912 that he serviced with us. I can still remember inside the front door of his electronics business, he had a small glass front counter with Bosch points, spark plugs, maybe a couple of fan belts or something. Eventually he pretty much abandoned the electronics business and became a major player in the Porsche parts business, building a huge new facility locally for the parts business. |
