Here are some more photos of the XB-70. It was first flown in 1964 and flew for 4.5 years before a crash of one of the only two built motivated the program to be canceled in 1969.

What's the story on this bird? Modified wings & tail-plane among other noteworthy features such as the engine nacelles. It almost looks like a model/mock-up..movie set maybe? Cheers JB |
