Can you imagine finding that whole setup in perfectly preserved condition? |

I think that is the bike I saw Moser get the world hour record in Mexico City in 1984 when I was president of the now defunct LaJolla Cycling club in the San Diego area. We were in MC for a series of races and the air was so bad I was sick with sinus infections for two months afterwards. I have no idea how he did it but at altitude the air is a bit thinner and their track was the highest in the world at that time.

After Moser got the Hour record, everyone wanted a "funny bike", but not as extreme as his!
The world admin.authority clamped down on radical frame design, and ruled both wheels to be the same diameter, and frame tubes {triangle]to be straight. Recall Lotus, etc.and the start of carbon moulded bikes! These classic old T.T. frames are only good for hanging on the wall now. This one is a Daccordi--Italian. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1330310551.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1330310586.jpg |
