Done it a few times. I hated the way my mouth felt numb. Mixed too many things together most of the time and it all balanced out. The was a long time ago and have no interest in it what so ever.

Occasionally twenty years ago. Loved the feeling of explosive energy, clear thinking and well being. The anxiety filled hangover however was a killer. Could not even leave the house the day after. Was certain everybody I met in the street was looking at me saying - 'look at that guy, a drug addict, disgusting'.

Had a girlfriend in college who used coke, and naturally I tried it. I even bought a gram or two along the way. It was mildly enjoyable in social situations, but I always felt awful the next day. And I was a complete jerk the next day as well. Price never really seemed to justify the effect and I lost interest.

I missed the recreational use period.

I don't think that this is my type of thing ...

Never cared for cocaine much. Failed to see the allure.

It was fun for a while, (15 years ago) but not so much anymore. I've been offered a few times in the recent past and pulled a Nancy Reagan, so the allure is no longer there.

Local athlete and ladies man turned into sniviling wreck borrowing $20 "to have his car towed" in a matter of months... Bad stuff.

Never liked it that much. Not a great buzz and everyone ends up standing around the mirror waiting for their turn ignoring the rest of the people at the party.

Highly overated IMHO. Way too little bang for the buck, on a number of levels. It's touted as the a-number-one "social drug" for the yuppie upscale crowd, but I think that is more so they can flaunt how much money they can spend. Very short lived, very expensive buzz, which makes it a great way to show off in front of those impressed by such things as you continue to lay out line after line. The really ironic thing about it (in the context of a "social drug") is that if you do enough of it to keep you going all night (and to impress the masses), it's damn near impossible to, shall we say, further entertain the young lady you have been trying to impress all night. You're numb everywhere...

Yeah, when I look back I wasted a lot of time and money doing something I didn't like to impress people that didn't matter to me... WTF was I thinking?

Scott, you have a point there. If not the personality, it intensifies the current state of mind.

I liked it, we called it the mood elevator. Just cost too much money and I am too cheap to keep it up, the habit I mean. I thought it was easy to quit, once you stop buying, nobody offers.

Something about a young lady who asks you if you want to come to her house to "do a line or two" and you know its going to be a very long and enjoyable evening....

Wealth magnifies a personality too.

I think I voted wrong; I thought it was a soft drink?
