Latest findings by the PCA rule comm. has found Mike's appendix's to not be in compliance ,
thus it will be returned to owner.
Rule 14 /a3 appendix must not exceed 7 cm in lenght, and cannot be inflamed.

Just got of the phone with Mike and he is doing well. Pissy as usual and sarcastic as hell leads me to believe he will be home tonight.

Some of us call this "Karma" for all the SH_T he stirs up..

This will teach him to bring a VW on illegal wheels to a Porsche event

Geeez, what a couple of months. Being sober can be dangerous. First the trailer fiasco, then the PCA thingy...makes me almost wanna turn in my Man Card and sing Kumbaya or something....

I took Momz....down to the cataract surgery....drove home and did an oil change on BAD TUB, the offending plastic pig of San Diego fame.....

Anyways, about halfway thru I felt a twinge next to my hip....I just though it was a sour stomach from the Sausage and Peppers I had for lunch....heavy on the red pepper....

It got worse...I had to attend a meeting with all the Track Coaches in the County. I'm a track starter as well as a football ref....anyways, the pain hit me so hard I passed out for a minute. I drove home, told the wife that I was heading to the ER.

I get there...Monday night 10:30 PM and the freaking place is PACKED.....every illegal or non insured person is there getting free treatment for the sniffles and the flu. They take my information and I sit for TWO hours.....BTW, this is the ONLY ER for 50 miles around. I'm groaning and beeyotching as usual, there are three young kids scared to hell screaming "I WANNA GO HOME" in English and few other languages.

NO PAIN MEDS....sharp stabbing pain....I almost went out to the car to grab my.357 to end it all...it hurt THAT much. But I remembered that the Valet Parking had my car and I was too doubled over i pain to deal with it....Valet....shhheesch...it's Santa Barabara, not Rodeo Drive....then after my "senior moment" I remembered hat I drove the wife's VOLVO because she blocked in my 911...so, no Smith and Wesson.

Around 1 AM, after the screaming kids were admitted before me, they stuff me in a room the size of a closet and ask if I was a heroin addict or was having alcohol or other drug withdrawals....you can imagine my response. I simply asked them to take blood and to test for elevated white count.

They did so, found it all whacked out and then sent me outto get an MRI. MRI showed that the appendix double the normal size and they scheduled me for surgery....they apologized because my temperature and BP was normal.

The gas passer was a wonder, one second I was eye balling Nurse Betty with large tatas and the next I'm waking up in recovery. The did a laparoscopic removal and I had three small taped up holes to the ride side of my navel.

Depending on which Doc I spoke with, it was easy and clean, perforated or Gangrenish and nasty.....the first day after recovery was painful, the hardest part was getting the nurse to deliver pain meds on time....when I asked the Doc for a longer lasting or potent pain killer he looked at my like I was an idjut....explaining to me I should simply ask BEFORE the pain appeared...O....K....remind me to do so while I'M ASLEEP!!!!!

One event at 5AM got a succesful drug delivery at 7:15, my roomate who had a broken leg (compound and post surgery) took an average of three calls to get meds....

Anyways, I'm home, thanks for the well wishes....I'll update and abuse someone soon....

Mike, they should've done the face lift while they were at it - saves costs and you only have to get anesthetization once... and she will make sure you get better soon

Glad your back,
where is this Vet. Clinic you went to.
any 1st week nurse's aid student can figure out wether an appendix's could be hot..heel tap / or rebound pain.
As for pain meds, I have a standing order for morphine with my guys..
