Don't feel too bad, I see the same kinds of posts on the E46 BMW forums. Installing a boost gauge on a car with no turbo is pretty impressive though. Wow.

I was big into VWs circa 95-01. I got out when the mkIV cars got a following significantly different than those of us into rabbit gtis, sciroccos, corrados etc...

I can't stress enough how much the watercooled VW scene changed between 98 and 01 or so.

Wow...I thought I was the only one who noticed this! You can tell by my signature that I used to own a Corrado and was also big into the VW scene. I too got disillusioned with the scene once the Mk IV models came along and "graduated" to the Porsche scene!

No schitt! One has to wade through alot of "how do you think this bling will look on my car" to find the good threads.

So I read the first post and thought to myself: "I didn't know VW had made a turbo version of the VR6 engine. Huh. Neat."

Then I started to wonder how some guy who knows how to install a boost gauge could miss that his car doesn't have a turbocharger.
