Favorite All-Time Album
Title says it all; I'm intrigued as to what you all will pick.
ONE PICK ONLY, PLEASE. Mine: OK Computer by Radiohead. |
I'll get back to you, this one is tough given all of the genres I listen to. Standby.
|
Of course this is an impossible task, but I guess I'll go with the very first album I ever bought. I was 13 years old when I bought Janis Joplin's Pearl and Aretha Franklin's Live at Filmore West. Aretha's album is flawless.

Man, this is a very tough question. Impossible, really. This one would be a "desert island" pick for me:
"Space Wrangler" - Widespread Panic Michael Houser was brilliant. |

Does Nick Mason's "Into the Red" accompanying audio CD count? :)

As of right now....Hmmm...
Yes: Fragile |
The Moody Blues, "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour"...
Actually, I'd have to pare it down to 20 or 30 choices. My love of music is huge. But that album has been stuck in my psyche lately. |
BIG Moody Blues fan but... this was some powerful music. Correct me if I'm wrong but Kiss pretty much started the "live" album craze.

Good Vibrations: Thirty Years Of The Beach Boys
Boxed sets count as one album, right??? :D |
Really tough question, and OK Computer is an amazing album, but this one takes the number one spot today:
