Mule, you are creating false argument based on a hypothetical situation that begs the answer you are trying to get. That's what is known as having an agenda and probably why you did not even try to answer my question to you.

Even with the fuk-ups of the past 7 years the USA is still the 800 pound gorilla of the world economy and we account for over 20 % of the world GDP and even more of the wealth.

Did it ever occur to you guys who want to "kill" to get the oil that rightfully belongs to other nations that we just buy it like we have for the past 40 years?

Do you really want cheap oil and dead people or to have a secure supply at market price?

In the inprobable situation you describe, and if your goal is a secure supply at market price, I would think you'd look to Canada and others (Russia, Norway, Venezuela ect...) to help pick up the slack in the short term.

By "they" do you mean the average people of those nations or do you mean the puppet governments that we often set up and support?

Or do you think that Shah Pahlavi and the scummy Royal Family were/are part of that great "freedom...democracy" that our kids are over there dying for?

Our official government policy has created most of our problems both per oil and the Middle East. Blaming the people over there is like a hunter b!tching because after he shot and killed 700 geese the damn things ran him out of shells!
