I agree with Moses. What makes anyone think they are fake? Even if that was a flashbang, it was still close enough to kill the dog.

It's hard to say if the dog is fake or not. Even if it's fake (and I sincerely hope it is), it's not hard to guess the status of the soldiers. They are most certainly fake. Fake humans. I wonder if their mothers have seen this?

I watched it. It's obviously a stuffed animal. What's sad is how quickly some people will believe it and vilify the entire Armed Forces.

I don't think it's a stuffed animal, but the video is, at best, very inconclusive as to whether it was a living dog or not. If I had to fathom a guess, I'd say it was a puppy which was already dead.

When you pick up (live) puppies by the neck, their hind legs flex and their front legs extend. It's a reflex. Hard for a dead puppy to do that.

I'll say it again. The puppy video IS A FAKE.

My kneejerk reaction was to a guy who tossed a puppy into a ravine. Not to a soldier.

Whether the puppy is alive, dead, real, stuffed is irrelevant.

They wanted the viewer to believe it was real.

It is sadistic plain and simple.

And if it turns out that this is truly an American soldier then he is an idiot for
a) doing it
b) video taping it
c) leaving it unguarded so those hand wringing libs could find it and post it on the net and thoroughly undermine the entire US military

You're in denial. The dog may have been dead to begin with, but REAL! You can see the weight of the dog as is sways when he's holding it. I truely hope you're right, but it looks too real to just quickly dissmiss as fake.

But it's also too unclear to just quickly accept as real.

Even if the puppy were dead that hardly makes it okay. The person who made the video obviously intended the viewer to belive that the puppy was alive. In my opinion its more than just a little sick. I hope it is fake.

I still haven't watched it but from the comments it's TOTALLY OFFENSIVE to me. Doing whatever is being done to the dog is not offensive while a bare breast is? Now that is truely comical.
