Wierd telemarketing call just now
I've received a couple strange telemarketing calls over the past couple weeks.
One asked for my wife, and simply hung up when I responded. Called the number on Caller ID...disconnected. One just came in. "Calling on behalf of Sprint. You've ben selected to win a new cell phone" We aren't Sprint customers. Very heavy Indian accent. I ask the person if he can identify the name that appeared on the caller ID. He could. "Debra Lanovara - 843-821-9610" I ask why not a company name, and he muttered in broken Engrish something liek "because she's my..." I ask for a Stupidvisor. I get one. I tell him we're on the Do-Not-Call list and are not customers of Sprint. He hangs up. I call the number. Disconnected, as before. I look it up at www.whocalled.us and find similar complaints. Googling the name or number shows interesting results. Anyone else getting calls like this?

Caller ID can be spoofed - VERY easily. I concur with rammstein.
