You and I were the putzes. The only consolation that I get is that when I bought the DB4, I considered a 427 AC cobra, but my Dad talked me out of it. At 17 y/o in the USMC, if I'd bought a 427 Cobra, I'd be dead now.

You sound like my soul mate per buying cars long ago!

My dad talked me out of the D Jag but it was a bit out of my price range at that time. I ended up buying an Austin-Healey 100-4. Had a three speed with an electric overdrive switch on the dash and a windshield with wing nuts that would go down into racing position. My dad also said that it was a really dumb way to spend my hard earned money but that it was not as bad as the Harley KHK that I brought home earlier. It was a 1956 55 cubic inch flathead that would fly. He was really pissed at me. Same story when I bought my first Corvette...a 1963 327 roller rocker engined coupe.

Man, if I had just kept those three cars..................along with the other 20 or 30 that I owned over the years!

I wish I would have bought vintage guitars in the 1980's when they coulnd't give them away.
Les Pauls especially. What you could buy for $10-20,000 a decade ago is now approaching half a million bucks.

Three years ago I could have bought a '56 LP for $9000. Now, it's priced well over $20k.

Oh wait...I thought this thread was things I wish I wouldn't have bought.

I swear its not mine!

No worries. Sweden is not a market for those pumps. Most of us need penis diminishing pumps.
