He was in the business of selling hamburgers, (McDonalds) He was a friend of my father's when he bought a franchise. I was 16 years old and did'nt know a thing about stock, and of course, did'nt have $2200.00. Oh well, it was still a nice gesture.

ISRG stock when it went public about 7 years ago. IPO was at $13. It fell to $9 and I decided it wasn't worth risking a few k. Trading today in the $300 range. Who would have thought that robotic surgery would become viable???

You and I were the putzes. The only consolation that I get is that when I bought the DB4, I considered a 427 AC cobra, but my Dad talked me out of it. At 17 y/o in the USMC, if I'd bought a 427 Cobra, I'd be dead now.
