My favorite part is the drinking and driving...which is what caused much of the protesting.

Probably my favorite episode. It's not drinking and driving, it's drinking and sailing.

One of the best episodes ever! IIRC, there is no open container law in the UK, and the driver can drink as long as he/she doesn't go over the limit. Or at least that's the way it was when I lived there. No idea what the rules are where this was filmed, however...

Thanks for posting!

Paul.

But not serious trouble if you stay under 0.08. Open alcohol is just a fine. I think.

Still not a good idea.

There were no cops around so they could have done anything they wanted to.

They were in international waters when the did the drinking and sailing so technically they did nothing illegal...however, people still protested because it sets a bad example and all that type of nonsense.

I wonder if you are required to . . . . you know . . . . be on a ROAD to be considered "drinking and driving."

If I want to get blotto and go drive my truck around in the middle of a field, or (Or the frozen tundra, for that matter,) I don't think the cops would have much to say about it.

Look up where the magnetic north pole is. It changes every year though. And it was on their way to the north pole that they decided to have their drink drinky.

You do not have to be on the road here. The legal test is 'care and control'. Fall asleep drunk behind the wheel with the keys in your pocket and you get charged.

I was on three! James was just cutting the lemon, and I was splitting my side laughing! I was able to watch BBC pull them one at a time, about 30 seconds in between disappearances.

I'm downloading the torrent right now, but it's painfully slow (18 hrs to go!). Anyone have another streaming link? I don't care about top quality.

Chris: I'll watch on your computer when I come to see you. (Still working. Sort of, as it appears I have time to get on youtube during the day...)
