Getting calls from Mortgage Brokers

Kind of odd that I got two calls from mortgage brokers today. Same pitch. Do you have a mortgage? No, do you want to tap the equity in your home? No, don't you want the money for a remodel project or investment? No.

I guess I should have asked if I could get a 125% loan and then walk away. I guess I'll just have to wait till tommorow.

Lack of accountability means they'll (1) never learn and (2) never change.

Next door neighbor is a broker. Used to sell cars. Go figure.
He's now recruiting anyone he can find to do his cold calling.
He said it a little tougher right now, but there's still plenty of stupid money out there.
He's a douche.

Both my wife and I got calls today on our cell phones, despite being on the 'do not call' registry. They are really hunting.

Last one of those guys to call me? I asked how much he wanted to borrow, what collateral he had, and how much interest he was willing to pay. The calls from him stopped..
