They've had some good print press in the motocycle mags. It's cool that a guy can do what he's done from his back yard, with some big names onboard.
I haven't checked out their web site lately, but they had some test sessions at a track on video which made the bike look promising. The bike is probably too over engineered for mass consumption, but for a small market of spendy buyers it may work. Bimota does it wll, but they have that Italian thing going for them. I'm just not sure an American company can build hot bikes and sell them at the prices that this thing will go for....and stay alive. There's another company out of Illinois (Roehr or something like that) that is trying to get into production a V-twin supercharged sport bike that will sell for approx. $45,000 each. I wish them luck, but I don't think they'll survive. |
