I think pelican should field a racing team in...
The 24hoursoflemons series... Think about an old 924 that ran good would be perfect.

One word - liability.
It would be a great promotional opportunity though. |
Guess i should have ben more clear... some Pelicans should field a car and then get wayne to pay their entry fee or something in return for advertisement... i mean this thing was covered by Car an Driver.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm in. Well, at least in spirit, if not the time to dedicate to actual car prep. Though the $500 (?) spending limit should keep that to a minimum. Of course, my cousin reminded me that partaking in a race where all the cars are most noted for their laughable inexpensiveness might not be the safest form of motorsports out there.

but rather amusing... and there is no budget for safety equipment.

I might be willing to sell a 914 I'm keeping around for a rainy day to Pelican for $499 (plus some special consideration later on parts deals. . .) :)

I really think that some pelicans should put a team together... i cant help tho sorry.
but yes a 914 might work better because it would be harder to damage the midengine. |
