why i am glad Pelican was down this fine day

These are the reasons why I was glad Pelican was down for me today.
1) cleaned out my shed
2) fixed my ridding lawn mower and placed it for sale. It should be sold by tomorrow
3) changed the oil and filter on my 944
4) aligned the front wheels on my 944
5) went for a walk with my 3 year old daughter while my 7 year old son practiced ridding his bike
6) repaired my Ford 8N and graded the driveway
7) did my thermodynamics homework
8) went for a 5 hour drive with my wife and kids in the 944

Speedy

That's ALL cool!

All I did was watch NACAR and ALMS on the tube...but the weather was kind of lousy here today...

Spent 7 hours doing termite repair work. Those guys can do a lot of damage in 50 years!

Sounds like a great day Speedy.

I pulled the 951 out of storage yesterday....and then I drove.

That's ok Wayne. We actually enjoy it when this happens in the spring time. I finally started tearing apart my spare engine and putting together a list of parts to buy from you.

I kept checking the site all day, feeling guilty because it felt like I was poking Wayne on the shoulder repeatedly asking "is it fixed yet?"

Its a good and bad day for me! I sold my Carrera today! Hopefully it will go to a good home and someone that will take care or her the way that I have.

Washed the cars.
Two hour country road trip in the Carrera.
Watched Formula 1 Q.
Clicked on Pelican at least twice hourly..

Quitting Nicotine habits should be a breeze compared to PP.

It rained here all day yesterday (Sat.) so I was constantly checking too ...I felt like "Daddy, are we there yet?" like those car trips as a child
