Billary Just Plain Stinks...

Face it, she does. Any of you that really thinks she is anything should step further away from the paint thinner and get a clue.

I'm not saying Obama is any better or even McCan - Gawd only knows we could do better. But Billary is just plain crap on a stick.

Why don't more folks see this?

ckissick 04-02-2008 06:25 AM

It is a mystery, isn't it?

MRM 04-02-2008 06:42 AM

I had no idea her personal hygiene was so bad. Is it all the campaign traveling that does it to her or is she just naturally ordorifous?

The Gaijin 04-02-2008 06:57 AM

Yes, she really does. But the democratic party electorate really does not want to vote for Obama. So they keep her in the race. But they really don't want her either..

Porsche-O-Phile 04-02-2008 07:07 AM

This is the one that I've been saying all along terrifies me - the fact that there really ARE that many stupid people in America today to actually rally behind her and put her (potentially) in the WH. Very real possibility. Yes, people en masse really ARE that stupid. And it's only getting worse every day.

I'm very, very concerned for the future of this nation. I don't know that we've reached the unrecoverable "tipping point" yet, but we're perilously close. Whether we can recover & return this country to its former greatness or whether we fall off the edge of the cliff and hurtle towards inevitable collapse will probably be decided in the next 5-10 years, if it hasn't been already.

These are historically significant times - whether we recognize it or not.

Out of 300,000,000 US citizens you come up with Hill, Back and Can. I canīt imagine what the rest of you must be like! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat3.gif

onewhippedpuppy 04-02-2008 07:29 AM

This isn't a new revelation.

Indeed, if they are the best we could muster ...scares the shyt out of me also!

I don't think they are the best we can muster, rather they are the ones left over that fit into a cozy media bundle. I can honestly say that there are 10,000 better folks available but their lack of media personalities or boring backgrounds preclude them from being 'electable'.

Wouldn't it be something if we elected folks on their ability and background rather than the party spin? At the risk of sounding like a technocrat, I would rather establish performance standards that a POTUS has to hit then go through a ranking system. Only after they have been vetted does the interview process begin in the form of Q/A. Screw the da-baits. They are media fodder anyway...

stevepaa 04-02-2008 07:54 AM

Take away the power ceded to the Presidency by Congress, or usurped by various Presidents and we could return to what some believe was original intent and we could do away with the media circus for the "Presidential beauty contest" or maybe we need to switch to a Parliamentary system where the Prime Minister seems to rise by virtue of some managerial skill.

The Gaijin 04-02-2008 07:55 AM

Sorry Lube - the whole thing is known as the primary process..

M.D. Holloway 04-02-2008 07:56 AM

Amen - I think we're under the same twisted thinking Rome was a few thousand years ago.....We have a whole generation that thinks you can do the least at work and get the max., that "nothing down" means free toys and homes they can't afford, that someone or something has to "entertain" them all the time, etc.

Maybe I'm getting old, I just don't see people in this country willing to get their hands dirty and the work ethic I saw 30 yrs ago is just not the same....

cairns 04-02-2008 08:47 AM

The Hillary supporters on here have been very, very quiet lately. Perhaps they realize the empress has no clothes. And that without them she is beyond hideous.

tabs 04-02-2008 08:47 AM

WORK ETHIC....Sounds hard to me....

If Hillary gets elected I'll be joining you on those pills, so Lubby you save some up just in case.

Is america falling, well times have changed from we were the only good kid on the block. Money has entered the political process like never before. That does not bode well for American style democracy. I think we are now in some kind of twlight zone with regards to what America is all about.

Porsche-O-Phile 04-02-2008 09:02 AM

Maybe I need to go hit the "pharmicas" in Tijuana and stock up on some good schit. At least I wouldn't be so grouchy sometimes when I think about this stuff. . .

Rikao4 04-02-2008 09:24 AM

there's only one I know of, hytem, I believe.

livi 04-02-2008 09:41 AM

It is like any other occupation. There are for example surely thousands of carpenters in Sweden that would be a much better pediatrician than I am. To top it off, I would most likely be a lousy carpenter..

slakjaw 04-02-2008 12:15 PM

I agree but Obama stinks even more on the stink-o-meter.
